Most administration-backed candidates remain in the Magic 12 of the final pre-election preference survey for the May 12 polls conducted by WR Numero survey firm.
The survey showed eight administration backed senatorial candidates, two Duterte backed bets, one independent, as well as one opposition who got in the Magic 12.
Placing first to second place are ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo at 48.7 percent and re-electionist Bong Go at 45.3 percent. Compared to other survey firms, Tulfo slightly overtakes Go by around three percentage points.
Presidential sister and re-electionist Senator Imee Marcos remains outside the magic 12 placing 13th to 14th spot with ex-Senator Manny Pacquiao at 26.4 percent despite endorsement from Vice President Sara Duterte.
Former Senator Bam Aquino at 28.5 secured 12th place.
The survey, conducted from April 23 to 30, had 2,400 respondents nationwide. Marie Manalili/DMS
