More than one million workers in the private sector and households in Central Luzon are expected to benefit from wage orders by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board.
In a statement, the National Wages and Productivity Commission said there are around 1.2 million minimum wage earners in Central Luzon will benefit .
An estimated 126,762 Central Luzon domestic workers are expected to get higher pay.
Based on a wage order, the minimum wage rates for Central Luzon private sector workers will range from P475 to P570 effective October 30; and from P515 to P600 after the second tranche takes effect on April 16, 2026.
Also effective October 30 is a wage order which increases the monthly minimum wage of domestic workers for the region to P6,500. DMS
