New COVID-19 cases rose from 2,360 on Tuesday to 2,727 on Wednesday, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
The National Capital Region accounted for 986 cases, with Quezon City having the highest with 172. Makati followed with 134 and Manila, 112.
No deaths were reported and 2, 615 persons recovered. DMS
