Three people died, including a minor while three others were injured in a separate fire at Cainta and Antipolo in Rizal on Sunday morning.
Two women died in a fire that hit two residential areas in Mutingdilaw, Antipolo which was put on first alarm at 6:50 am, placed under control by 7:20 am, and declared fire out at 7:35 am.
In a phone interview with the Daily Manila Shimbun, Fire Officer 1 Roland Rey Cultibo said one of the fatalities included a 14-year-old girl.
In a separate fire at Barangay San Isidro, Cainta, a 48-year-old woman died while three persons were injured after the blaze in a residence which was placed at first alarm at 6:20 am and declared fire out at 7:02 am.
Fire Officer 1 Elle Uterio told the Daily Manila Shimbun that the three injured individuals sustained first-degree burns and lacerations from the fire which has damage to properties estimated at P1.05 million. Kate Christian Ravelo/DMS
