A one year, 11 month old baby died after fire hit the residential area in Paranaque City on Saturday.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) a total of 13 houses at Barangay Sun Valley, Paranaque City were razed by fire which started around 3:45 pm.

Based on initial investigation the fire began from the second floor of the two story house owned by Wilfredo Prado located at 4035 Culdesac Rotonda within the barangay.

A total of 22 families or around 98 individuals were affected by the fire.

The BFP is investigating the incident but it noted that the damage to properties due to the incident cost around P100,000. Robina Asido/DMS
