Atin Ito Coalition's third civilian-led mission to the West Philippine Sea that aims to "promote peace, dialogue, and cultural exchange" is set to begin next week.

In a press conference on Thursday, Atin Ito convener Ed Dela Torre said that the "Concert at Sea for Peace" will be from May 26 to May 30.

“This sea concert will bring together artists, musicians, fisherfolk, and civil society leaders from the Philippines and neighboring countries to promote peace, dialogue, and cultural exchange,” Dela Torre said.

Atin Ito convener Rafaela David said the mission will include "a sunset musical event at the jump-off point in El Nido, Palawan; dialogue sessions and cultural exchanges; and a concert performance in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) near Pag-asa Island".

"We will sail not with warships, but with songs; not with hostility, but with harmony and solidarity,” David said.

However, David added that some of the performers, including Japanese artist Fumi,will not be able to join the concert near Pag-asa island due to "conflicts in schedule".

The mission will feature performers including Japanese artist Fumi, renowned artists Noel Cabangon and an all-women rock group Rouge, and rap collective Morobeats.

Also among the performers are P-pop group based in South Korea HORIZON., Indonesian and Malaysian musicians Viona and Kai Mata, and South Korean K-pop girl group I:Mond. Marie Manalili/DMS
