A police officer in Baguio City and three others were caught before noon Tuesday in a sting operation that yielded 20 kilograms of crystal meth packed in vacuum-sealed package at a rented apartment here, which is the biggest shabu haul in the Cordillera Administrative Region this year.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera director Derrick Arnold Carreon named the suspects as Police Executive Master Sergeant Palmer Nankihid Moling; Mary Ann Teope Ty, 49; Mark Leonard Laurente Teope and mechanic Adriano Basallo Soriano, 37.

All the four suspects will be facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Carreon said. DMS
