Re-electionist Senator Bong Go tied ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo, who has been leading the survey since last year in the latest February Pulse Asia survey on senatorial preferences released on Thursday.

Presidential sister and re-electionist Senator Imee Marcos went down to 14th from a deadlock for fourth to 12th in the January polls. Television host Willie Revillame rose to the fourth to ninth rank from seventh to 13th.

"Most of the probable winners are either former or incumbent lawmakers and are running under the administration’s 'Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas' ", Pulse Asia said.

The survey was done from February 20 to 26.

Former Senate President Vicente Sotto III was tied with re-electionist Senator Bong Revilla followed by Senator Ronald dela Rosa.

Tied from fifth to 11th is broadcaster Ben Tulfo (40.7 percent), followed by former Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao, Senator Lito Lapid. At seventh to 13th places were Makati City Mayor Abigail Binay, Senator Pia Cayetano, Las Pinas Rep. Camille Villar and former Senator Panfilo Lacson.

Behind Marcos were former Senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilian. Marie Manalili/DMS
