An undersecretary of Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon resigned Friday after a lawmaker claimed he is linked to contractors
Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon said Undersecretary Arrey Perez tendered his irrevocable resignation hours after Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste named Perez.
Dizon said he told Perez he would have him investigated following Leviste’s allegations.
Perez was one of those Dizon brought to the DPWH as undersecretaries last Sept.30. He was chief regulatory officer of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corp.
Dizon, who replaced Public Works Secretary Manuel Bonuan, was appointed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr to investigate the multi-million peso flood control project scandal. DMS
