President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday honored the countless Filipinos who sacrificed and laid their lives down for the country as he led the observance of National Heroes’ Day.

Marcos said it is inherent in Filipinos to be honest and to want to serve and help one another ? characteristics seen in farmers, fisherfolk, teachers, healthcare workers, laborers and vendors.
