2025/5/13 英字

Re-electionist Senator Bong Go of the opposition PDP-Laban with 14,314,325 led the partial and unofficial count in the senatorial race of the 2025 midterm elections as of Monday night followed by former Senator Bam Aquino, with 11,883,138.

The transmission of partial and unofficial results was held up for around 15 minutes past the promised 8:30 pm and before 9 am it reached 48 percent.

Aquino, who is running under the Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino, entered the Magic 12 in only one pre-election survey and towards the end of the campaign period. ''The big story at this point is Bam Aquino,'' said Ranjit Rye, president of OCTA Research at TV 5 special election coverage.

Despite failing to enter the Magic Twelve in the pre-election surveys, re-electionist Senator Imee Marcos ranked 11th.

Marcos recorded 7,283,703 votes in TV5’s Bilang Pilipino election monitoring as of 8:48 pm.

Aquino previously placed in the lower half of pre-election surveys.

Senator Bato Dela Rosa came in third with 10,847,704 votes.

ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo, who previously tied with Go for the top spot of the pre-election surveys, was fourth with 9,388,634.

Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan, who was also not in the Magic 12 in all pre-election surveys, placed fifth with 8,463,506.

Meanwhile, candidates of the Alyansa former Senator Tito Sotto, Senator Pia Cayetano, and Senator Lito Lapid ranked seventh (8,336,888), ninth (8,057,337), and twelfth (7,242,819) respectively.

Las Pinas Rep. Camille Villar, who was recently no longer included in the Alyansa lineup after her endorsement from Vice President Sara Duterte, came in at tenth.

Former Senator Ping Lacson ranked sixth with 8,463,506 votes.

Sagip Partylist Rep. Rodante Marcoleta of PDP-Laban, who previously ranked low in senatorial surveys, now ranked eight with 8,152,307. Yzabella Velez-White/DMS
