A suspect in Sunday afternoon's road rage incident in Antipolo City where four persons were hurt may face charges of frustrated homicide and violating gun laws, police said Monday.

Calabarzon police director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas said they will initially file a frustrated murder case against the suspect as the victims didn't carry deadly weapons with one of the victims being shot twice.

"We will initially file frustrated murder ... and violation of Omnibus Election Code because his gun doesn't have an exemption from Comelec", Lucas told reporters.

The incident began with a verbal and physical confrontation between the suspect who was driving a SUV car and a motorcycle rider resulted in a shooting incident that injured four individuals including the suspect's partner.

The suspect identified as "Kenneth", 28, attempted to flee but was later intercepted in a hot pursuit operation on the same day.
