A Palace spokesperson said Saturday the government will address the concerns of the victims of the 2013 siege of Zambaonga City who did not welcome a court’s suspension of an arrest warrant against Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founder Nur Misuari, the alleged instigator of the attack which left at least 200 people dead.

Asked to comment about issues raised by Zamboanga Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco and residents who said Misuari should be held accountable, Abella told government radio: "At the right tight all those issues will be address but right now what's important is he Misuari) is already talking with the President." .

Abella said what's important is Duterte and Misuari are laying the groundwork for the creation of the Bangsamoro territory for Muslims in Mindanao .

President Rodrigo Duterte met Misuari in Malacanang Palace in a move to end the insurgency in Mindanao .

Climaco on Thursday vowed to pursue the cases against Misuari and seek justice for the siege on her city.

"As I have mentioned to President Duterte in several of our conversations, Misuari has to be accountable for his alleged crimes. Zamboanga City shall continue to pursue our cases in court against him and the MNLF members responsible for the siege.
