The Supreme Court dismissed a petition by former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Ronald Dela Rosa for Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla to produce an alleged arrest warrant of the International Criminal Court.

The court en banc directed the respondents to comment on the very urgent manifestation within a non-extendible period of ten days from notice.

Duterte and Dela Rosa filed a very urgent manifestation on Nov. 13 alleging that Remulla said an arrest warrant had been issued against the senator last Nov.8.

Remulla, interviewed over TV news program Storycon, said: " I stand by my word that there is a warrant.''

''It (arrest warrant) will arrive very soon,'' added Remulla. "I still have my copy but it cannot be used because it has to be an official transmission.'' DMS
