At least three were reported dead and three missing from Tropical Storm ''Crising'' which enhanced the southwest monsoon, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) said Sunday.

OCD Deputy Spokesperson Diego Mariano said two of the fatalities were in Northern Mindanao and one in the Davao Region.

The six missing persons were in Antique, he added.

''Crising'' left the Philippines Saturday and combined with the southwest monsoon resulted in a preliminary damage estimate of P11 million. Mariano told dzBB that OCD is waiting for data on crop damage.

A total of 370, 289 persons, equivalent to 120,008 were affected by ''Crising.''

The enhanced southwest monsoon resulted in rains in Metro Manila starting Friday night until early Sunday. Streets in the metropolis, especially in Manila, were flooded on Saturday morning, subsiding in the evening.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said 6,720 families or 22,623 individuals were staying in evacuation centers, while 5,287 families or 20,759 individuals stayed outside evacuation centers. DMS
