Fifty-one percent of Filipinos believe that former President Rodrigo Duterte should be held accountable for his war on drugs, according to the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey on Wednesday.

The survey, which was commissioned by The Stratbase Group was done from Feb 15 to 19 or before Duterte was ordered arrested by the International Criminal Court on March 11, had 1,800 respondents.

It found that 25 percent opposed that Duterte should be liable for the extrajudicial killings related to the war on drugs in his administration while 14 percent were undecided. Ten percent were unable to state an opinion due insufficient knowledge.

Respondents who believed that Duterte should be held accountable for drug war killings were highest in Visayas at 62 percent followed by 47 percent in Mindanao.
