Kennon Road has been opened to motorists starting 7 am Sunday but only to light vehicles.

Only vehicles with a load of up to five tons can pass through the 34-kilometer road leading to Baguio, the regional public works department said.

Landslides and a cave-in at Camp 5 bridge caused by super typhoon Lawin caused the closure of Kennon Road. The bridge is still being repaired, said the public works department. DMS
