The Philippine Air Force (PAF) and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) officially concluded Doshin-Bayanihan 5-25 on Friday at Brigadier General Benito N Ebuen Air Base, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The ceremony was led by the Exercise Director for PAF, Col. Reynaldo Jose Montoya PAF, and Lt. ?Col. Yohei Maki JASDF, head of delegation, who both expressed their gratitude to all participants for their professionalism, dedication, and teamwork throughout the exercise.

Doshin-Bayanihan continues to serve as a key bilateral training activity focused on enhancing Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) capabilities.

This year’s exercise involved the deployment of C-130 aircraft from both air forces in simulated missions.

Key operations included Bilateral Air Drops (Low-Cost, Low-Altitude or LCLA), Engines Running Onload/Offload procedures, and mass casualty and aeromedical evacuation drills.

Medical personnel from both Air Forces engaged in hands-on triage, emergency response, and casualty evacuation exercises, supported by Subject Matter Expert Exchanges and lectures that fostered mutual learning and operational interoperability. Air Force Public Affairs Office
