Presidential sister and re-electionist Senator Imee Marcos rose to 17th place from 18th place in the latest OCTA research senatorial survey for the 2025 national midterm on Monday.

The survey showed that Marcos had a 27.9 percent voter preference from 27 percent from the last survey and was ranked statistically at 11th to 19th place from 12th to 19th in March.

The survey, conducted from April 10 to 16, had 1,200 respondents nationwide.

OCTA Research head Ranjit Rye told The Big Story expects movement as the May 12 elections approach. He added that there will be tough fight for the last few spots. He said the last senatorial survey by OCTA will be out on May 5, covering the endorsements by Vice President Sara Duterte and former Vice President Leni Robredo.

For the first time, former Senator Bam Aquino entered the Magic 12, placing at ninth to 18th after over four percentage point increase.

Re-electionist Senator Bong Go led survey with 64.2 percent voter preference followed by ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo with 61.2 percent. Both candidates are statistically tied in first to second spot.

Broadcaster Ben Tulfo (45.4 percent) ranked third to seventh followed by former Senate President Tito Sotto (43.3 percent) at third to eight. Ranked third to 10th are re-electionist Senator Bato Dela Rosa (40.4 percent), former senator Ping Lacson (39.7 percent), and re-electionist Senator Pia Cayetano (39.5 percent).

Re-electionist Senator Bong Revilla (38.7 percent) placed fourth to 10th after losing over six percentage points while Lito Lapid (36.9 percent) was at fifth to 11th followed by Makati Mayor Abby Binay (35.7) at fifth to 14th spot.

Las Pinas Rep. Camille Villar (30.4 percent), at 10th to 18th, managed to secure the 12th position despite a decrease of over four points drop from its voter's preference in March.

Outside the top 12 were former Senators Manny Pacquiao and Kiko Pangilinan who both had 30.3 voting percentage placed at 10th to 18th. Sharing the 11th to 19th spot are Television host Willie Revillame (29 percent), former Interior secretary Benhur Abalos (28.8 percent), Senate re-electionists Imee Marcos (27.9 percent), and Francis Tolentino (27.7 percent).
